11 & 13

  1. What do you enjoy most about your favorite hobby? How can incorporate that into other parts of your life?

The hobby that I enjoy the most would have to be painting. I really love when I feel inspired and have time to really create something. Honestly the only thing that would make it better is to have other people want the items that I create, but I am not as out there as I would like to be. I really push out there as much as I can though, I feel that working with nonprofit organizations really help me get out there as much as help bring the sort of passion I have onto other people. Not only do I love dong the arts themselves but I love planning events around then and being able to be around others that like the same sorts of things that I do. My job also has more arts in it than one would think. I mean I am building something, creating something, which is a great feeling all in its own let alone a job. So I think thats a pretty cool hobby and that I have broadened it to be a part of every aspect of my life since it is part of who I am.

  1. When you think about your future, what do you fear the most?
When I think about the future I realize that entire aspect of it is my greatest fear. Every single day we get closer to the end and have to figure out how to spend our next moments. These should all be worthwhile then shouldnt they? They should all be action packed and full of memories and experiences.  But what about the days you spend at work, or lazy days spent asleep for way longer than needed, or days you spend sick, sad or injured. What about the days you don't spend with people you love, the days you haven't found someone to love. What I fear the most is that I am not getting the most out of my only life that I get, I always fear that I am wasting time or that I will not mean anything to anyone in the long run, that nobody will miss me when I am gone or that I will never really be happy..there are so many things that are out of my control that still effect me every single day that I just have to do damage control on after the fact, what if I can't fix something.

Basically, the future is a terrifying unknown. Good Luck to you, Good Luck to me.

  1. Today is your first day at your dream job. You’re so excited you can barely contain yourself. When you arrive at work, you take a minute to look around and appreciate the moment. You can’t believe you actually got this job. Where are you? Why do you value this job so much?

That's funny. I thought I was here. My dream job was to have a stable job at an architecture or interior design firm. AND I DO. About two weeks in and finally starting to feel comfortable but still have a while to go. I feel like a kid in an adult world. But after I have been thinking about it for a while, maybe this is not the end game for me. Maybe this is just a couple of years and then I can go find something new after I pay back all my student debt. At this point I am where I need to be: stable, gaining experience and working towards certifications that can help me stand out to the bigger and better things that may come. There is still more.

5.   Describe a time you felt especially valued and loved.

My youngest sister was invited to a trip to Wisconsin with my grandparents and my younger cousin. The rest of my sisters and I went to visit them for a few day since we had work the rest. The time I spent up there I mostly hung out with my younger cousin. I braided her hair, played games, she showed me things she liked, I showed her things I liked and basically just had a swell time. She goes to bed earlier than us older kids do (I mean we had to play 2 more rounds of uno right) so she went right to the place I was sleeping and fell asleep there so that when it was time for me to sleep I would have to sleep by her. She said it was because she was afraid of the storm but I have never felt more appreciated or loved.

And thats what I enjoy about little kids and toddlers. THEY CANNOT SURVIVE WITHOUT YOU. They depend on you to take care of them and they look up to you. I guess that is not something that I am used to and recently I have been near small people and it makes me fell a hell of a lot better about myself when I am down.

6.     Finish this sentence: “I can’t stand it when other people…” Examine those character flaws. Do you also possess them? Be honest.

I can't stand when other people are assholes for no reason. Yeah I possess the quality because sometimes I am an asshole, sometimes I am just in a mood. And that sucks, I should not be like that. I just know so many people that lie and manipulate and just destroy other peoples lives. They just don't understand the way the world works and it irritates me because if they don't have to follow the social rules then why do I? Oh yeah because I am a motherfucking upstanding human with life goals.

3.    What is your greatest strength? Describe a time this strength served you well/

I think a strength I possess is my drive/determination. I really like to get things done and accomplished and I always try and push myself. This frequently serves me well, for example, finishing school early, taking extra classes, getting internships and jobs at an early age. It is a scary thing for me, but I have to keep moving forward with my life.

4.     What is your greatest weakness? Describe a time this weakness held you back.

A big weakness I have I think is that I sort of have different personalities and they really don't line up. For example, I want to be this hippie chick that does what she wants and wears what she wants and live with tents and braids and palazzo pants. But I am also this chick who loves pop punk and only wears ripped black clothes and has tattoos and piercings and tries to sell her art. But in reality I am just some little girl working at a full time job at an Architecture firm because you've gotta make a living and unfortunately I am not dumb.

1&2

  1. What is your favorite physical characteristic (face or body)? Describe a time you felt proud of that feature.
My favorite physical characteristic is for myself and others, being eyes. I had always enjoyed eyes, for the colors and uniqueness of them. But they recently became the tippy top of my favorites after a good trip. On said trip I saw things in a different light and spent what felt like an eternity in a different world just watching my eyes and a friends eyes swim and be beautiful. Will never see eyes the same way.

I constantly feel proud of my eyes, they do what they are supposed to and I love to see them change colors. I am lucky to have pretty blue sometimes green sometimes grey eyes that look grand with my dirty blonde hair and pasty skin. I will not be complaining and am quietly proud of the face I was given.

  1. What physical characteristics are you most self-conscious about? How could you make peace with those?
I am so ridiculously self-conscious about my body. Upper body to be specific. I constantly wish I was thinner and am always aware of the back fat, or muffin top or whatever it may be that day. EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT THAT FAT.

How to make peace with it? I already am, I mean I know that I have to eat right and workout to keep generally where I am at but I also do not let it control me, I can frequently be caught with a tub of ice cream in my lap without a care in the world.
